More about
JANE
NOTE: SHY ADULT CAT - PLEASE READ FULL BIO BEFORE INQUIRING!
Although shy to start, Jane has a very curious and playful side to her. Our team is still working with her to help her be more comfortable around humans - but know she is making some progress. She likes to play, watch cat tv and climb the cat trees. Recently, She has shown a HUGE interest in puree treats and will even eat them off your finger!!
Jane is ready to start her next chapter - could that start with you?
We feel it is important for potential adopters interested in meeting Jane to understand that she is VERY shy and may take time to interact upon first meeting someone new. In our experience, using a favorite wand toys, or a lickable treat will help to bring out her out of her shell. Jane is not yet comfortable with petting but will eat from your hand because this little flower is still learning how to blossom. She will do best in a quiet home without small children or dogs, with plenty of time for adjustments and space to get comfortable.
Please call the shelter at (860) 225-1339 or email us at adoptions@afoccats.org. A "meet and greet" can be arranged only after an application has been submitted and approved.
