Sponsorship

Adopting a cat not in your near future, but love animals?

Why not Sponsor a pet?

toby-thumb.png

AFOC has many cats that are not currently adoptable or have special needs that makes the journey to find the right home longer than most of our residents. You can make an enormous difference in a cat's life by sponsoring them until they find their forever home. Sponsorships also make thoughtful gifts, for birthdays, anniversaries or a memorial to a special person or pet.

You can choose your one special cat to sponsor, or you can choose to sponsor all cats at the shelter.  Payment can be made annually, bi-annually or monthly. You can mail a check to the shelter or set up automatic payments via PayPal.

Your donations will help provide food, litter, and necessary medical attention until a loving family is found. Sponsorships also assist the shelter in meeting the high expenses of emergency care when needed.

As a pet sponsor you will:

  • Have your name listed on our site next to a picture of your special cat or listed as a general sponsor (if you wish to remain anonymous that is OK too.)

  • A letter if your friend is adopted.

  • A tax deduction.

  • The knowledge that you have made a difference in an abandoned cat’s life.
